Center & Infrastructure

The town center of Rottach-Egern can be reached in about 7 minutes on foot, and the boat landing in about 12 minutes. Shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafés are within walking distance.

Mobility

Tegernsee train station is approximately 5 km away and easily accessible by bus or taxi. Munich city center is 60 km away, and Munich Airport is about 95 km away – both easily reachable by car or train. From the boat landing, you can take a relaxing trip on the Tegernsee ferry to all the towns around the lake – including Bad Wiessee, Tegernsee, and Gmund. A particularly lovely way to explore Lake Tegernsee without a car.
